Sun Peak Metals Corp. is a Canada-based junior mining company. The Company’s principal business is the acquisition, exploration, and development of resource properties for the mining of precious or base metals. The Company is focused on exploration and discovery of gold and copper targets on the Shire Project in Ethiopia. The Shire Project is comprised of approximately four exploration licenses, which includes Nefasit, Adi Dairo, Terer and Meli, and covers approximately 900 square kilometers in northern Ethiopia. The licenses are on the same geological environment as both the Bisha Mine and the Asmara Projects to the north in Eritrea and Newmont’s project, also in northern Ethiopia, to the south. The Company wholly owned subsidiary is Sun Peak Ethiopia Mining PLC (Sun Peak Ethiopia).
