Company Profile

Halmont Properties Corporation invests directly and indirectly in real assets including commercial, residential, institutional, industrial, and forest properties. The real estate includes low-rise office, retail, residential, industrial, and institutional properties. The forestry includes Freehold timberlands and related manufacturing facilities. The financial include medium-term property loans and related advisory services. Its commercial office and retail properties include 221 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario and 321 Lakeshore Road, Oakville, Ontario. The Company’s investment in forest properties include 53% equity interest in Haliburton Forest, which owns approximately 100,000 acres of predominantly hardwood freehold timberlands in Haliburton County, Ontario, and approximately 145,000 acres of predominantly softwood freehold timberlands near Timmins, Ontario. It also owns and operates four hardwood sawmills and a 50% partnership interest in a biochar production facility.
