Almaden Minerals Ltd. is a Canada-based company engaged in the business of exploring and developing mineral projects. The Company’s principal asset is the Ixtaca precious metals project located on its Tuligtic claim in Mexico. The Ixtaca precious metals project is located approximately 120 kilometers southeast of the Pachuca Mine, one of the gold and silver deposits in Mexico, with a historic production of approximately 1.4 billion ounces of silver and seven million ounces of gold. The Ixtaca deposit hosts a probable reserve containing approximately 1.38 million ounces of gold and 85.1 million ounces of silver, out of which approximately 73.1 million tons grading 0.59 g/t gold (Au) and 36.3 g/t silver (Ag). The deposit is also located in the industrial heart of Puebla State. It is also accessible from Mexico City and approximately 95 kilometers north of Puebla city.
