Golden Minerals Company is a gold and silver mining company based in Golden, Colorado. The Company is primarily focused on resuming production at its Velardena Properties and advancing its Yoquivo property in Mexico, and, through partner-funded exploration, advancing its El Quevar silver property in Argentina. The Company is also focused on acquiring and advancing selected mining properties in Mexico, Nevada and Argentina. The Velardena Properties are located in Durango State, Mexico, which covers an area of approximately 316 hectares (ha) and contains two underground silver and gold mines and two processing mills. Yoquivo is a district-scale silver-gold exploration project, which is located 35 kilometers southeast of the Ocampo Mining District and covers an area of approximately 1,975 ha. El Quevar is a district-scale, advanced exploration-stage silver project in Salta, Argentina, which covers an area of approximately 56,719 ha and has over 31 mining concessions.
