The Company develops, manufactures, and markets, primarily in the therapeutic areas of eye health, gastroenterology (GI), and dermatology, a range of branded, generic and branded generic pharmaceuticals, over the counter (OTC) products, and medical devices (contact lenses, intraocular lenses, ophthalmic surgical equipment and aesthetics devices) which are marketed directly or indirectly in approximately 100 countries. The Company operates through five segments: Bausch + Lomb, Salix, International, Solta Medical, and Diversified Products. The Bausch + Lomb segment consists of global sales of Bausch + Lomb Vision Care, Consumer, Surgical, and Ophthalmic Pharmaceuticals products. The Salix segment consists of sales in the United States of gastrointestinal (GI) products. The Solta Medical segment consists of global sales of Solta aesthetic medical devices.
