Denison Mines Corp. is a Canada-based exploration company. The Company is focused on acquiring and advancing a pipeline of gold properties in Ghana, Africa. The Company’s segments include Mining, Closed Mines Services and Corporate and Other. The Mining segment includes activities related to exploration, evaluation and development, mining, milling, including toll milling and the sale of mineral concentrates. The Closed Mine Services segment includes the operation of the Company’s environmental services business which provides mine decommissioning and other services to third parties. Its core projects include Wheeler River Project, Waterbury Project, Midwest Project and McClean Lake Project. The Wheeler River Project is located along the eastern edge of the Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan, Canada and is located approximately 35 kilometers northeast of the Key Lake mill and 35 kilometers southwest of the McArthur River uranium mine.
