Janel Corporation is a holding company with subsidiaries in three business segments: Logistics, Life Sciences and Manufacturing. The Company’s Life Sciences segment comprises several wholly owned subsidiaries. The Company’s Life Sciences segment manufactures and distributes monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies, diagnostic reagents and other immunoreagents for biomedical research and provides antibody manufacturing for academic and industry research scientists. The Company’s Manufacturing segment comprises Indco, Inc. (Indco). Indco is a majority-owned subsidiary of the Company that manufactures and distributes mixing equipment and apparatus for specific applications within various industries. Its Logistics segment is a non-asset based, full-service provider of cargo transportation logistics management services including freight forwarding via air, ocean and land-based carriers; customs brokerage services; warehousing and distribution services; trucking and others.
